IDEA Education, a language school on the island of Cebu in the Philippines, which holds junior camps every spring, summer, and winter, will hold an online junior camp “Classlive Junior” from May 3 (Mon) to May 5 (Wed), 2021. The camp will be held free of charge. During this period, students will be able to participate in daily lessons where they can learn English from professional English instructors and experience the culture of other countries. The lessons will be held every day during the said dates allowing students to learn English from professional English instructors while experiencing other cultures. This program is planned, operated, and managed by IDEA Education, a Japanese-owned language school, which has been operating in Cebu since 2011 and has realized the online Junior Camp based on its know-how of running the Cebu Junior Camp for about 10 years. In addition, our IT team and the team that manages the annual Cebu Junior Camp will work together to run the camp, so even children who are beginners in English can participate with ease.
Lesson Program
Today, the environment surrounding children is changing dramatically. In this era of accelerated globalization and the new normal caused by the new coronavirus, “21st century skills” such as spontaneity, expressiveness, creativity, and problem-solving abilities are required more than ever. Classlive’s Junior Camp not only provides general English lessons, but also provides opportunities for students to learn about the culture and customs of each country, and to discuss and debate the differences between their country and others.

Application
Please apply for participation in Classlive Junior from the application page. After that, you will receive an email about your participation automatically to your registered email address.
Preparation for the Program and Participation
Please prepare the Zoom application necessary to attend the lesson. You will be able to take two lessons a day at the times listed in the schedule. Please check the information in the email carefully and enter the lesson room when the time comes.
Speech and Graduation Ceremony
Thank you for a great three days! At the end of the last lesson, students will be asked to make a speech using the English they have learned in this program. You will receive a "Junior Camp Participation Certificate" from the management team.
Frequently Asked Questions
A. Most of the participants are beginners. The lessons will be taught by professional instructors who are familiar with teaching English to juniors, so they will be able to support you if there are any situations that you cannot understand something during the class.
A. Yes, you can. However, please note that you must participate in at least 60% of the lessons to apply. Please let us know at the time of application if there are dates during the term when it will be difficult for you to attend the lessons. Basically, we recommend that you attend all the lessons in order to get the most out of the program since it is only three days long.
A. We will have participants from Russia, Thailand, and Japan. However, please note that the nationality of the members may be unevenly distributed among the groups.
